I am currently hiring for a thriving fintech company who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their ever-growing team. They are looking for someone who is especially skilled with Node.js and Typescript to join their highly skilled, and ever growing, engineering Team. You will mainly be tasked with developing microservices using Node.js written in Typescript!

About The Job

For this role you must have a strong and continuously growing proficiency in Node/Typescript and preferably experience with RESTful API’s/AWS. You will work with the product team and assist with the overall design of distributed microservices, as well as the detailed design of the individual services themselves.

You have a passion for fin-tech and are eager to work on a growing and exciting product!

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile pod
• Work with the Product and senior team members regarding user stories and requirements!
• Build successful API’s and perform code reviews
• Work on the overall design of distributed microservices and the design of the services themselves!

Qualifications

• Commercially experienced with Node.js and Typescript- especially writing unit and integration tests
• Solid  experience with RESTful API’s
• Are familiar with at least one of the big cloud providers (especially AWS), and have experience of – or are excited by – serverless technologies
• Have solid experience across peripheral tooling, such as Git, Webpack, Babel, etc
• Have worked with at least one relational database and are familiar with non-relational databases
