I am currently hiring for a thriving fintech company who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their ever-growing team. They are looking for someone who is especially skilled with AWS (Cloud formation) to join their elite DevOps Team. You will be tasked with helping their financial services developers design and implement technology solutions using the latest in cloud-based technologies.

About The Job

For this role you must have a strong and continuously growing proficiency in AWS (Cloud Formation) and preferably experience with React.js/ Node.js. Act as a trusted advisor to our developers & Business partners and help them deliver cloud-based solutions using DevOps methodology and cloud-based services.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile pod to estimate and deliver complex technical requirements
• Keep up to speed with the latest technology releases from cloud providers and maintain continuous learning by gaining certifications
• Manage and implement capabilities to our core platforms.

Qualifications

• Expert in AWS
• Knowledgeable in cloud platforms (preferable AWS: both traditional EC2 and serverless Lambda), micro-services architecture, CI/CD solutions (including Docker), DevOps principles, message queue systems, and background task management.
• Have solid experience across peripheral tooling, such as Git, Webpack, Babel, etc
• Solid foundation and understanding of relational and NoSQL database principles.
